Fall Convocation

The University traditionally begins the academic year with a gathering at Harry A. Gampel Pavilion called a Convocation.

This is a time for everyone to meet one another, talk about the University, and articulate some of the ideals that define us as a place of learning and growth.

The Fall 2007 Convocation will be held on Friday, August 24th at 5:00 pm. The keynote speaker will be Sandra Weller, Board of Trustees Distinguished Professor, and Chair of Molecular, Microbial & Structural Biology Department.

Immediately following Convocation, families and friends are invited to join their students at a BBQ picnic. The picnic will be held on Fairfield Way and will be at no charge.
