Fall Convocation

The University traditionally begins the academic year with a gathering at Harry A. Gampel Pavilion called a Convocation.

This is a time for everyone - students, parents, faculty, and staff - to meet one another, talk about the University, and articulate some of the ideals that define us as a place of learning and growth.

The Fall 2008 Convocation will be held on Friday, August 22nd at 5:00 pm. The keynote speaker will be Regina Barreca, professor of English.

Immediately following Convocation, families and friends are invited to join their students at the President's Picnic. The picnic will be held on the Great Lawn and will be at no charge.
